Good Bye Old Friend

We have enjoyed long rides on the open road. You and Bryant were HOV partners and commuters. You were loud and a little flashy but OH SO FUN! It was fun while it lasted.

Now you live in Georgia with a new man. I wish you well. I wish you long rides on the open road.

Good-bye old friend.

Bryant sold his motorcycle. He sacrificed his toy for our new floors. We are all a little sad. (except Hope who is glad to have at least one of the big noisy things in the garage gone)

Here We Are!

For those of you who thought we had fallen off the face of the earth.... nope, we are still here. We are very busy now that school has started.

We do have some things to catch up on though. For instance, the first day of school. It came and went with no ceremony or photos. (bad blogging mommy) BUT I did send them to school with lunch!

Then there was the trip to the beach. We went to the Outer Banks again this year. This was a tradition we started when we lived in Virginia. We LOVE the Outer Banks. We went over Labor Day weekend with Laura's parents, brothers and their wives and "Uncle" Jake. (Jen's brother)

I DID remember to take photos of that trip. (see below) It was SO great to get away. We read, slept, swam, sunbathed, slept, read and ATE.

Did I mention we slept?
